Our mission
The CBD-Council of Brazil, primary mission is to aggregate and represent people with conditions that can be
treated with Hemp extracts (CBD) and derivatives, as well as their families and loved ones, aiming at
improving treatment conditions and their psychological and physical quality of life, as well:

Promote free social welfare for people with chronic or temporary diseases, without any discrimination of
race, color and social conditions;

Encourage, promote studies, trials and research on the Hemp plant and its derivatives, disseminate the
results to society and above all educate societies and political leaders of the molecular, physical,
biological and reactive differences between Hemp and Marijuana (Cannabis Sativa Indica), which despite
being from the same family of Cannabis, are totally distinct even in appearances;

Promote events such as congresses, seminars, symposiums, courses, workshops, workshops and charity
meetings, seeking to foster information and possible benefits about the Hemp plant in order to give
educational, technical and managerial qualification to professionals of any field of knowledge, but
mainly to health professionals, politicians, police officers and the scientific community;

Request from the competent authorities or a special Court Order for the right to import certified Hemp
seeds, cultivate Hemp, and or import it’s by products and to provide the drug to patients who need CBD
treatment for a subsidized fee or for free;

Represent our patients-members and theirs family members of those with Pathologies that may be treated
by CBD in any public or private entity, as well as in any power of the Republic, including being able to
propose judicial or extrajudicial measures and lawsuit aimed at protecting the fundamental right to
health care, in Brazil or abroad, with CBD and / or its derivatives, in order to pursue better living
conditions to cure serious illness or reduce incurable illnesses.

Enter into agreements and partnerships with public and private entities, national or foreign, aiming at
the most economical and least bureaucratic access to CBD to our members and those that can benefit from
CBD as medication.
